The Salty Hippo Crew

Hello! My name is Todd and I live in Utah with my wife, Stefanie, and our 4 children. We have two teenagers and toddler twins (please pray for us🙏) — Bre, Shay, Carlie, and Tyson. Whew! 

The name of our store was born of two elements. The first is the fact that we live in a suburb outside of Salt Lake City and wanted to pay homage to the hometown we love so much. Secondly, there is a fondness for hippos in our home. So the name “The Salty Hippo Store” was born and it makes us laugh but also makes us feel love because it is special and family-based.

We are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so I get dressed up at least once a week. I love to wear matching socks and ties and I have always had trouble finding what I wanted. This is why I began my business based on my need and the needs of many men who love to accessorize with style.
